New way of seeing


I propose that the way fine art has been shown forever in galleries could be completely wrong. Bright light may strain the eyes too much when a much more subtle light could do the job. Visitors could be acclimatized to the low light and then shown the works, not so much that they have to strain, but enough for the colors to be crisp and distinguishable. - the artist could create under the same conditions.

other thoughts, we always look through room temperature air. Maybe cold air or water between the eye and the picture would change it.
